Four girl hockey players from Cambria and Somerset Counties are competing next week with hopes of a national title. Three of the girls are in the 19U division. They are making the trip to Irvine, California to represent the Armstrong Arrows in the Girls Hockey National Tournament.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Travis Konecny had his first career hat trick to lead the Philadelphia Flyers past the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2. The Flyers did lose team MVP Sean Couturier to an unspecified injury. Couturier was plowed into the boards and may have hurt his left shoulder. He left after just two shifts and 45 seconds.

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State redshirt-sophomore pitcher Dante Biasi (Hazleton, Pa.) was selected by the Kansas City Royals early in the sixth round of 2019 Major League Baseball Draft Tuesday afternoon, becoming the 10th-highest selection in school history.

Indiana County, PA (WJAC) Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman has identified the victim of Sunday's fatal motorcycle crash in Cherry Tree Borough. Officials say 39-year-old William Roland Jr., of Westover, was killed Sunday night after crashing his motorcycle near the Indiana and Clearfield county line.
